Mid-South is located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Memphis, TN. We are purposely located in a very isolated section of the Mississippi Delta for any discreet training that may be required. We have thirty separate ranges which include: all types of stationary, moving and reactionary targets; assault courses; acres of woods; a linear steel target assault course; multiple steel target combat courses; a 300-yard capable moving target/pneumatic reset rifle range; and a 10-meter pneumatic pop-up pistol, sub-machine gun range. With all these different ranges and target systems, one can shoot for days without shooting the same scenario. We also have a weapons cleaning room and a fully-equipped weight training room. There is a military drop zone approved for parachute operations certified by the U.S. Air Force. There are 5 armories equipped with alarm systems for securing weapons and ammunition and two secure buildings for equipment storage.
We have three large houses that can accommodate up to 60 students with kitchen utensils, appliances and linens provided. For leisure activities, we have a pool table, big screen satellite TVs, DVD, VCR, and stereos in the houses, and outdoors we have a swimming pool, barbecue grills, basketball court, and a jogging area to and from the Mississippi River. There are food stores and a restaurant within three miles of our complex and we are only ten miles from the Mississippi River Casinos and Hotels (Sheraton, Harrah’s, Goldstrike, Hollywood, and Grand Casino.)
